Q-DAS

The Q-DAS statistical software is considered the standard for quality assurance in industrial production. Users worldwide trust the software and the associated training and consulting services to successfully increase product and process quality. Customers from a wide range of industries have already opted for Q-DAS solutions and thus profitably exploit the potential of correct and reliable statistical evaluations. In 55 countries, Q-DAS software products are used to collect data, visualise it and use its evaluation to increase efficiency.

Statistical software for quality assurance Version 13 of Q-DAS Statistical Software does not only offer many performance, usability and interface enhancements, but most notably new functionalities and modules entering new fields of application.

  • New subscription-based licence model
  • Machine Learning provides best suitable distribution time model
  • Q-DAS DS – Dynamic Sampling reduces inspection scope
  • Intelligent algorithms identify correlations
  • Q-DAS 3D CAD for generating inspection plans directly
  • Q-DAS RTM Web monitors specific tasks
  • Q-DAS qs-STAT Web Line Selection makes it easier to select data
  • Innovations in Q-DAS qs-STAT Web and Q-DAS solara. MP Web
  • Focus on positional tolerances

Features

Plenty of new functionalities became part of V13 Q-DAS Statistical Software. As an example, Q-DAS Form Designer provides the option to create a table of contents including hyperlinks for a report. Moreover, the manual saving of data enables users to define key fields.

Usability

To keep track of the data and their quality level, version 13 features new and enhanced graphics. A bar chart now shows the characteristics of measured value attributes and additional data.

There are protocols of measured values and additional data based on a specific additional datum, e.g. all measured values including a specific event or text. And last but not least, the measuring point overview uses groups to control the displayed characteristics. A direct comparison of the same characteristics in different inspection plans is feasible.

Performance.

The performance enhancements in version 13 of Q-DAS Statistical Software particularly cater to dealing with huge data volumes. Graphics and report previews are generated more quickly and the display of the characteristics list as well as the automated creation of zipped archive files have been optimised for working with plenty of characteristics or measured values. Inidividual processes reading data from the database are easier to adjust and guarantee short access times

GLOBAL S

The GLOBAL S coordinate measuring machine (CMM) delivers measurement productivity tailored to your workflow, addressing the widest range of production requirements including throughput, precision, multi-purpose and shop-floor capabilities.

With productivity being the key competitive driver in manufacturing, it’s crucial that the measurement process provides the data required for the application and fits seamlessly into the production workflow and cycle times. The GLOBAL S coordinate measuring machine (CMM) provides superior measurement performance and enhanced productivity for your specific production needs.

Designed by Pininfarina and powered by the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Enhanced Productivity Series (EPS) concept, GLOBAL S combines smart technologies including user experience enhancements, advanced software and eco-friendly options to provide measurement solutions with three performance levels: Green, Blue and Chrome, to suit the requirements of your application. EPS machines allow you to select your main productivity driver: throughput, precision, flexibility or shop-floor measurement, and configure the machine with the best capability package for that driver. GLOBAL S can also be fully-customised to suit the most challenging production environments.

Through a highly-configurable technology platform, GLOBAL S ensures that quality engineers creating measurement routines, operators executing the inspection, and quality managers analysing the data all have the solution needed to ensure continuous improvement in the production workflow.
